1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement, and provide accurate information. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Vlossom.
2. Vlossom's role
Vlossom is a marketplace that helps customers discover and book independent stylists and spaces. Unless expressly stated, stylists and property owners are independent providers, not Vlossom employees or agents. Providers control how they perform their services and are responsible for qualifications, licences, hygiene, pricing, tax, and legal compliance.
3. Bookings, prices, and cancellation
Review service details, price, location, and cancellation terms before confirming. A booking forms an agreement between the customer and provider. Displayed estimates may change only where the customer approves a quote or variation. Refunds and cancellation charges follow the policy shown before confirmation and any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Payments and wallet
Vlossom may facilitate payment for real-world beauty services through third-party payment providers and blockchain-based USDC settlement. Fees and exchange-rate information are shown before confirmation. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible, public, and subject to network availability. Do not send unsupported assets or funds to an incorrect address.
5. Safety and user content
You may post reviews, messages, profile information, and images only if lawful, accurate, and yours to share. Do not post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual exploitation, spam, fraud, private information, infringement, or dangerous or illegal content. You grant Vlossom a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and moderate that content solely to operate and promote the service.
Use in-app reporting and blocking tools for objectionable content or users. We may review, restrict, remove, preserve, or disclose content and may suspend accounts to protect users, enforce these terms, or comply with law.
6. Marketplace conduct
Treat other users respectfully. Do not evade platform fees, manipulate reviews or rewards, scrape the service, introduce malicious code, reverse engineer protected systems, impersonate others, misuse payment flows, or use Vlossom to facilitate unlawful activity.
7. Hair and wellness information
Hair-profile insights and product or routine suggestions are informational and are not medical diagnosis or treatment. Stop using a product or service that causes a reaction and seek qualified medical advice when appropriate.
8. Suspension and deletion
You may delete your account in the app under Settings > Privacy or follow our account deletion guide. Active bookings, payments, rentals, or disputes must be resolved first. We may suspend or terminate access for safety, fraud, unlawful conduct, or material breach, and will provide notice where practicable and lawful.
9. Service availability and liability
We work to keep Vlossom reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every provider, user, venue, listing, or third-party service will meet your expectations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, Vlossom is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Disputes and governing law
Contact support@vlossom.app so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These terms are governed by South African law, and disputes are subject to South African courts, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms for legal, safety, or product changes. Material changes will be communicated where required. Questions can be sent to legal@vlossom.app.
